Cloning Macintosh HD using SuperDuper!

There are several backup utilities to choose from, but SuperDuper! is very easy to use. It's free to use for full disc cloning but there's a small charge for the license that allows you to use the time saving incremental backup feature. You'll find a link to it on our General Information, Useful Links page.

• Run SuperDuper! and select your discs. Copy Macintosh HD to Firewire Drive.
• Select the option to backup all files.
• Click on options.
• Click repair permissions.
• Select erase then copy (this will overwrite previous backups.)
• Click O.K. to return to the previous window.
• Click copy now.
